I finally got home from the hospital on Thursday afternoon. Three weeks is way too long, I was beginning to get very depressed and irritated, I couldn't hold down food, and developed a backache from lying in bed for so long.
I turned out I had developed a nasty infection, I don't think I have ever felt that bad before in my whole life. I finally convinced my doctors (a whole team) that I would recover much better in my own home.
The first thing I did when I got home was to take a nap without any interruption. Then I ate a huge meal, which was more than I had eaten the whole 3 weeks in the hospital. Its so good to be home.
The pain in pretty much gone now, I spent the weekend napping, watching tv, and urinating, and on Sunday I managed to take a shower all by myself.
I am still very weak, and am having some trouble with my appetite and holding down food, but I am getting better every day. I still have to go up to the clinic 3 times a week so they can cheek my bloods levels, I have to leave at 5:30 in the morning and don't get back until almost 2, so that takes up my whole day.
My goals for this week it to check my email, pay my bills, and try to put my home back in order, for some reason there seems to be "stuff" lying about all over the place, I am not sure what it is or where it came from.
Thank you all for your good wishes, your messages brought tears to my eyes.
I will be around to visit blogs and catch up with you all soon
